Student Samples
As a teacher, I try to provide students with opportunities...opportunities to shine in their best light. All summative projects are assigned through options or choices, and students are always welcomed or encouraged to create their own projects. The point is to never have the same exact project twice. Students feel empowered when they get to create their own projects, and they learn about the power of collaborative efforts in producing great work. Often times, students are in front of the classroom, teaching their peers about what they have learned. If there are errors, these are used as opportunities to learn as students are knowledgeable about growth mindsets. Project-based learning is an important and crucial part of learning in my classroom.
